No Drug useTRAINING STEROID FREE/ FACTS ABOUT STEROID USE

No Steroid use.I wanted to put this page in for many reasons.  I want people to know that it is still possible to have a good physique without the use of steroids and other illegal substances.  I also want people to know that it is harder than you think to train steroid-free when you are in this industry.  I am a natural born hard worker.  If something needs to be done, and it is God's will, hard work pays off every time.  However, imagine that you have worked out, studied, planned, eaten right, and you are as strong and as fit as you have ever been.  You then look across the gym and there is another guy who doesn't work half as hard, has a horrible diet, knows nothing about health, yet is just as strong and just as lean.  This makes it very tempting to use the drugs in the industry.  However, I have chosen to never use steroids.  I have never used steroids, nor will I ever.  I enjoy the rewards of the work I have put in.  It takes a little knowledge and a lot of pain (muscle burn) but it can be done.  Now I am not saying that somebody will look like a Mr. Olympia.  I am saying that you can turn heads by correct lifting techniques, keeping your body healthy, good cardiovascular exercise, and by keeping your body in an anabolic state rather than catabolic state. Hopefully if I live to be 80 years old, my body will still be very healthy and running strong.

I want people to realize, however, that I am not passing judgment on these people. People that use steroids and other performance enhancing drugs aren't necessarily bad people.  In society, we put a lot of pressure on each other when it comes to looks.  Usually the prettier girl will get the door opened for her, or the bigger guy gets looked up to by other people in the gym. Many people might have really good physiques, but when you add some drugs, they start being noticed by everybody..."man, did you see that guys arms?"  Gym goers will ask questions like "how do you look like that", and "what diet are you on?"  I just want people to understand that in reality most of us have a distorted body image.

I also would like to add, I am not sure if people believe or even know what they can do without drugs.  In the gym industry it is almost understood that if someone is big or has a good physique they have to take drugs.  Obviously that cannot be so, I am very happy with my physique and do not take drugs, so the way I look at it is that if I can do it, why can't you.

Side effects of Steroid use:
  1. Premature baldness
  2. Depression
  3. Agressive behavior
  4. Gynecomastia (men have women breasts)
  5. Infertility
  6. Different types of cancers
  7. Liver diseases
  8. Low testosterone in men (This results from putting a synthetic hormone in your body and your testicles are no longer needed to produce their own testosterone.  Testosterone levels drop to almost 0.  Normal testosterone ranges between 300 and 1000 nanograms per deciliter.  The testicles are no longer needed, so they atrophy, or shrink)
  9. Testes atrophy (shrink)
  10. Acne
  11. Financial burden
  12. Early maturation in young men
  13. Stunted penis growth (Do I really have to say anything else)
